Glen Ridge Strawberry Shortcake (Shorty)

Penny Lane is unusual in color and full of style. Unbelievable coverage and what a great wool cap. Extremely dense and crimpy with great bone she is a Full Peruvian Bueno daughter. Penny was shown at the 2002 Big E Alpaca Show where she took a first. When she was young she was a solid dark fawn. Over the years she has become variegated, this to us says she has great color potential. Her first cria (2004) is a solid dark brown male named Sgt. Pepper. Her 2005 cria is out of Polaris and is a beautiful med. Rose Grey female, Strawberry Fields. Penny was bred back to Polaris and her 2006 cria is a Dark Rose Grey Female, Strawberry Shortcake. We bred her back to Polaris, what a great cross. Strawberry Fields was sold to Shadow Pines Alpacas in RI. and Sgt Peper is owned by Stillwater Island Alpacas in NY.
